High Performance Diesel is proud to introduce their new front mount intercooler upgrade for the D23 NP300 Navara twin turbo.
After testing the factory intercooler setup on the NP300 it became quickly evident that the intercooler was underrated for the performance of the YS23DDTT motor.
HPD set out to build a non-invasive, direct-fit intercooler with a HUGE capacity and no cutting or drilling.
What HPD developed has resulted in a direct bolt-on kit with no irreversible modifications at all needed.
HPD has developed a charge pipe adaptor with a dual seal to eliminate any leaking issues that have become a hallmark of the factory intercooler system.
The factory Nissan intercooler core size is 540x155x80mm, giving a surface area of 840cm², and a volume of 6700cc.
Our upgrade intercooler measures 600x300x76mm, giving a massively improved surface area of 1800cm², and a simply HUGE volume of 13680cc.
That's an increase of over 200% in surface area cooling and charge air cooling volume!
NOTE: If your car is equipped with a Forward Emergency Braking radar system, this may need to be relocated in order to install the intercooler kit. Please check compatibility with your vehicle.
Hot pipe:
HPD also offers an optional replacement Hot pipe which eliminates the factory pipe commonly found to leak oil back on top of the turbocharger. HPD has designed a twin sealing coupling that outperforms OE and also eliminates the factory baffles. Hotpipe includes a retaining clip.
